    Bit to Do

When I think of summer, I think of festivals and fairs that are teeming with people celebrating together. I think of hot dogs, cotton candy, elephant ears and corn on the cob. I think of booths with kids games, and a row of carny games that are more than willing to take your dollar for a chance at a stuffed animal you'll have no idea what to do with when you win it. And, I think of beer and laughter (those two often go hand in hand!).

The Lyndon Area Fair has all of that, and more! It kicks off on June 18th for two days, and will also feature arts and crafts, a Louisville Lightning soccer tournament, and a corn hole competition (what is it with corn hole and this town?!?).

Robsion Park will rock with music from the bands Lunar Beach House, a great Jimmy Buffett tribute band, and the Rigbys, a Beatles tribute band.

There'll also be fireworks, plenty of kids activities, and Radio Disney, too. The whole family will be entertained.

And, did I mention the beer garden? Like I said...something for the whole family!

Fair times are Friday June 18, 4-10, and June 19, 12-10. It's at Robsion Park, which is right behind the Post Office at 8127 LaGrange Rd.
