Other than being especially delicious beverages, what do sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, riesling, merlot, Dogfish Head, lemongrass wheat ale, and Basil Hayden’s bourbon all have in common? You can find them all, among countless other fine wines, beers and bourbons, on Louvino’s menu every day. Though the young restaurant’s impressive bar menu includes the same favorites all year long, the kitchen’s selection changes each season, and it’s officially time for spring!

Louvino’s new seasonal list of scrumptious small plates features a variety of fresh springtime ingredients like pineapple, heirloom tomatoes, and homemade bourbon barbecue sauce. According to the chefs of the restaurant, these dishes are designed to allow customers to sample a variety of what Louvino has to offer, making these small portions ideal for sharing. And the new springtime menu is full of flavors to serve as the perfect partners to Louvino’s inventive flights of wine. Take a look:

Imagine biting into a delicious tiny Cajun crab cake before taking your first sip of handcrafted petite sirah. Heaven on earth!

And now that the warmth weather of spring is here, Louvino has opened up its back patio area, providing its customers with limited outdoor seating. It’s one of the city’s best spots for intimate parties or meetings, and it’s absolutely perfect for a romantic date. Get dressed up and share a flight of wine and a few small plates with that special someone, it will be a date they’ll never forget.

And because Louvino has become so popular and has seen such wonderful success since opening last summer, owners Chad and Lauren Colter have decided to open a second location in Middletown! This second restaurant will be located at 11400 Main Street, however the couple has not yet announced when this location will open its doors for business.

You can try Louvino’s new spring menu Tuesday – Thursday from 5pm – 10pm and Friday – Saturday from 5pm – midnight. Sunday brunch is served from 10am – 3pm. For directions and to make reservations, visit Louvino’s website here
