    Bit to Do

We can really feel the fall now! Here's what we're looking forward to this week:

    Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular
“Every year I come upon the perfect pumpkin: not too tall, round, and a vibrant orange. It presents itself like a blank canvas. I think I’ll carve David Bowie or Ozzy Osborne and everyone will be jealous of my master carpentry skills, but three broken kitchen knives later, I always end up with the hack job of the year. The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular restores my faith and appreciation that carving a pumpkin can be done well. “

Being at Siedenfaden's on the same night Zan Hoffman is there dancing
    He is everywhere, always dancing.

Wine tasting at Joe Huber's Family Farm
    Because, obviously.

Homemade Pie and Ice Cream's cinnamon ice cream
A nice detour from all the pumpkin spice flavors, but still rich and yummy.

The Halloween section of Unique Thrift Store

    Jennifer Lawrence’s Hometown Heroes Banner
    You go, girl.

Revitalize hand cream from Moss Hill
    Winter is coming!

$4.00 House Margaritas at El Mundo
It’s on Wednesday. Need I say more?

    Fall Bike Riding
It’s going to be beautiful all week (according to Google weather)! Can’t wait to ride through Cherokee Park and then grab a post-ride beer(s) at Holy Grail.

"Luna Gale" at Actors Theatre (Running through Oct. 25)
It's a really moving and nuanced story about an infant caught in the system between drug-addled teenage parents and a controlling religious grandparent.

Vampire Donuts from Adrienne & Co.'s Donuts & Desserts on Highway 150 in Floyds Knobs
They’re glazed donuts with vampire teeth in the hole and dots of raspberry "blood" dripping from the fangs.

    Fotofem's Instagram page
    Lots of Louisville love there.

    Sunergos' "Blend B" coffee
Available in 8oz and 16oz bags

    Caufield’s
“Why? I go every year and spend at least 2 hours trying on costumes I want, but will never commit to.”

Celebrate Back to the Future Day!
October 21, 2015 is the day Marty McFly arrives in the future! What's not to celebrate. This will never happen again! Against the Grain is hosting a party...with a costume contest.
