In the kickoff for a new video series from Louisville.com & Louisville Magazine, Nellie Pearl heads to TNT Productions to preview their upcoming album, "Lonesome No More!" See the Louisville-based Americana-rock group perform their single "Live/Die" as well as an exclusive look at upcoming track "True, Fiction."

"'Live/Die' is a letter to several friends who struggle(d) with pharmaceuticals." says songwriter J. Mitchell (vocals/guitar). "I ran into trouble with addiction to narcotics years ago but was able to take a step back and see how it affected myself and others around me and then control it. Throughout the years, I have had some friends and acquaintances overdose, most of them lived but not all of them. "Live/Die" was inspired when I saw a friend abusing Fentanyl, the same substance her very own father received during the end of his battle with cancer. The same substance another good friend of mine was currently receiving to ease the pain caused by chemotherapy."

"True, Fiction" is a little more uplifting: "The inspiration behind True, Fiction came from Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. 'If you would be unloved and forgotten, be reasonable,' from "God Bless You, Mr Rosewater." It just seemed to me like a nice way to tell oneself to be more easy going."

See the video below, and don't miss the album release of "Lonesome No More!" at Headliners, February 26, 2016.
