For the sports fan who enjoys year-round sporting events, the Louisville Sports Commission has just the ticket – its annual “Golden Ticket” raffle.
This year’s Golden Ticket winner will receive two tickets to each 2012-2013 regular season home football and basketball game for the major university in either Louisville or Lexington, winner’s choice. The winner will also receive two tickets to the following:

David Hardy, winner of the inaugural 2011 Golden Ticket package, said, “Winning the raffle was unbelievable. The Golden Ticket provided me and members of my family with numerous opportunities to attend a variety of outstanding sports event. It was nearly impossible to attend every event, but it was never a challenge to find family, friends and business associates to take part in the fun.”
“Last year’s Golden Ticket raffle was such a success, we knew we had to do it again,” said Karl Schmitt, executive director of the Louisville Sports Commission. “Tickets sold out in just a few weeks. We expect no less this year, based on the high level of initial interest Louisville sports fans have expressed in the events we are offering.”
A total of 300 tickets will be sold at $100 each. The winner will be drawn on April 24 and need not be present to win.
