I am currently an intern as a contributing writer at Louisville.com. I'm a current senior at the University of Louisville finishing up a college degree as a Communications Major and plan to graduate in Spring 2012. I also work part time at UPS as a secondary sorter (boring). In my spare time I like to hang out with friends and also write and record music as a Hip Hop artist. Two of my biggest passions and interests are sports and music, especially basketball and Hip Hop music. I am 23 years old and have been living in Louisville basically my whole life and love it!
What I Love About Louisville:
What's not to love about Louisville (besides the weather)? With the exception of not knowing whether to wear a winter coat or swimming trunks the next day, I love everything about Louisville. I love knowing the city of Louisville like the back of my hand. The people are friendly (for the most part). I absolutely LOVE the fact how Louisville is the home of many as well. The Great Muhammad Ali, actor Johnny Depp, NFL legend Johnny Unitas, actor Tom Cruise, as well as the home of the trusted weapon of many MLB batters, Louisville Slugger. And of course not to mention... the Kentucky Derby. From the Balloon Glow to Thunder Over Louisville to the Kentucky Derby, you are SURE to learn to love Louisville. And if you find you don't like the weather, just wait until the next day... the weather will be different.
