Bush’s memoir revealed the stunning revelation that Mitch McConnell, in September of 2006 — while he was calling people al-Qaeda-appeasing cut-and-runners for wanting to start withdrawing troops from Iraq — was privately telling Bush to start withdrawing troops from Iraq. Not because it was the right thing to do for the country, but because he felt it would help the Republicans in the election that Fall...Dick Cheney also shares the news that Mitch McConnell is a Grade-A hypocrite." • "When 'The Playboy Club' premieres on NBC Sept. 19, you’ll notice a familiar local face starring on the small screen. Native Louisvillian Wes Ramsey will take on the role of Max the bartender in the new hourlong series, which centers on the “Bunnies” and patrons at the original Playboy Club in Chicago at the height of its popularity in the 1960s. Ramsey, a 33-year-old St. Francis High School grad, Walden Theatre alum and son of Bill and Linda Ramsey of Louisville, has also appeared regularly on 'CSI: Miami' as audio/video lab technician Dave Benton."
