Louder Than Life has announced additional entertainment, Gourmet Man Food highlights, celebrity chefs, and the initial talent lineup for WWE’s NXT Superstars for the second annual celebration that takes place at Champions Park October 3-4.
Trivium, Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, and Flaw have joined the music lineup. They join a large music lineup that already includes Rob Zombie, ZZ Top, Godsmack, Shinedown, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and more.
Louder Than Life's gourmet man food selection got even larger with today's announcement. As a joint venture between two St. Louis based restaurants, Tom Coghill’s ( who has been featured on Food Network) Iron Barley and Bill Kunz’s Highway 61 Roadhouse will be staging full scale pig roast. That doesn't even scratch the surface of the amount of food that will be at this festival. 37 dining options are listed on Louder Than Life's website, from local food trucks and restaurants like The Monkey Wrench and Longshot Lobsta to Jacksonville food truck Up In Smoke BBQ.
The addition to this year's festival, WWE wrestling, is perhaps the most out of left field part of the event. While they have likely hit the right demographic, how they pull it off will be a mystery. What is not a mystery is the wrestling schedule and the wrestlers that will appear. Louder Than Life festival-goers will be able to see Finn Balor, Tyler Breeze, Bayley, Baron Corbin, The Vaudevillains, Enzo Amore, Big Cass, Carmella, and more in action. There will be autograph sessions with the superstars from 1:00-2:00 p.m. and wrestling from 3:00-4:30 and 6:00-7:30. There is not an additional cost to the festival ticket to watch WWE NXT.
Patrons can also play metal mini-golf and walk in the presence of Big Bully (pictured below). At the very least, Louder Than Life has achieved stimulation of all the senses.
