St. Matthew's, in particular Shelbyville road is starting to take on a new name: "Lex in Lou" it is quickly becoming the premiere spot for the twenty one and older crowd. With the opening of Drake's and Tin Roof within mere feet of one another, St. Matthew's demographic has changed. The addition of these two bars has brought a young, college crowd, looking for live music and a good time. Lexington has proven these two bars are forces to be reckoned with so why not bring it to Louisville and continue the success? Adding to this "Lex in Lou" title is the opening of Mellow Mushroom and whispers of a possible Cane's. Cats fans will be flocking to this area to relive their beloved Lexington memories, others to experience Lexington in their own hometown. Coincidence or planning? Should we be expecting a Two Keys soon? No word on this one yet, but it's always a possibility.
