The Louisville Free Public Library’s How-To Festival is back this May 9. Now in its fourth year, the extravaganza of free events squeezes into five hours enough learning to make your head spin.
From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Main Library, participants can learn 100 things, all free, from Louisville experts and enthusiasts. Almost anything you can think of could be included, from dancing, to gardening, to home repairs, to photography, to writing, to cooking … you get the idea. Library officials counted around 4,000 folks at the festival last year, and hope 2015 will be even bigger.
While the schedule for the day is being finalized, you can follow progress at the festival’s Facebook page, and use the #HowToFestival hashtag on social media for messages and photos.
Presenters for the 2015 festival include:
The Louisville TimeBank
Louisville Water Company
Gather and Stitch
Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft
Supreme Peace Yoga
The Wine Rack
Foxhollow Farm
Jefferson Memorial Forest
Kentucky Opera
Kentucky Shakespeare
Louisville Metro Animal Services
And many, many more…
