This week marks the first annual “Louisville Craft Beer Week”.

It kicked off September 24th at BBC in St. Matthews and it runs through October 2nd at BBC downtown.

With many stops along the way during this 9 day festival, it’s sure to become one of Louisville’s favorite celebrations.

This Friday night the LCBW will be hosting a bus tour of the hot spots of Germantown, beginning at the Monkey Wrench (1025 Barrett Ave.).

For a $5 fee, enjoy bus rides all night to various bars celebrating the week.

Stops along the tour include: Swan Dive, Nachbar, Pauly’s Schnitzelburg Pub, Check’s, Zeppelin & Zanzabar.

The bus times are from 8pm-12pm as the circuit runs back to the Monkey Wrench for the full round-trip.

Bluegrass Brewing Company is a main sponsor and the Monkey Wrench will be featuring Bluegrass Brewing Company's APA, Dog fish 90 min, Shlafeley Pumpkin, Upland Wheat, Falls City, and Flying Dog's Gonzo Porter. The menu will consist of a platter of BBC's APA Beer Cheese Balls, Flying Dogs Gonzo Pork Sliders, Upland Wheat’s Beer Battered Onion Rings, Falls City's Fish Sticks, Dog Fish's 90 min Corn Dog and Shlafeley's Pumpkin Empanada for desert.

The bars and taverns along the route help to bring together some of the best craft beers in the River City as well as combining old Louisville charm with new Louisville style.

It’s the perfect trip for celebrating Louisville Craft Beer Week!
