After significantly contributing to the restoration of Louisville’s historic Whiskey Row with the creation of Doc Crow’s Southern Smokehouse in 2011, opening one of Nashville’s most impressive steakhouses, Union Common in 2014, and coming close to the end of production of its new riverside south-of-the-border restaurant, Doc’s Cantina, the Falls City Hospitality Group is back at it with the announcement of its newest project, JQ Public House.

Like each of the Falls City Hospitality Group’s unique restaurants, JQ Public House is guaranteed to offer a deliciously different twist on flavors folks just simply can’t get anywhere else. Chef Jonathan Schwartz of the new restaurant is designing a full menu compiled completely of classic American cuisine that is sure to trigger the delightful memories of every diner’s childhood favorite foods. Though the menu has yet to be released, Chef Schwartz’s mouth-watering fried chicken and original baked-to-order meatloaf are sure to be included.

Along with these homestyle favorites, the menu is certain to include an extensive variety of seafood to compliment JQ Public House’s one-of-a-kind dining area which will offer a beautifully grand view of the Ohio River to each table. And the designers of the restaurant definitely had this view in mind when choosing the location for JQ Public House, which will be located at RiverPark Place Apartments.

“We’ve worked for years perfecting the design and menu of JQ Public House,” explains Brett Davis, managing partner of the Falls City Hospitality Group. “The development at RiverPark Place will be the go-to spot for professionals looking to escape the daily grind and we can’t wait to offer them a place to sit down, relax and enjoy.”

JQ Public House is scheduled to open in late spring of next year. And until then, you can try some of the delicious offerings from Doc Crow’s and soon at Doc Cantina’s when the new restaurant opens its doors at the end of the year.
