Meanwhile, shows on Dec. 4, 5, and 12 will occur at 4 p.m. All performances will go on in the Bomhard Theater in the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.
Tickets for all shows are $18 per person. Purchase can be made at the Kentucky Center box office, the Kentucky Center website, or by calling the box office at 502-584-7777. More information on the show can be found at the Music Theatre Louisville website.
It's a Wonderful Life features George Bailey, living a life that was below his expectations and desires in Bedford Falls. However, he will have his own spirit moved in time for the holiday season by an angel and, later, his family and friends.
The production is presented as a radio play from the 1940s, complete with sound effects, actors performing multiple characters, and even era-appropriate product jingles.
Following It's a Wonderful Life, Music Theatre Louisville will prepare for its summer season. The season will include Ain't Misbehavin, Guys and Dolls, and Big the Musical. Summer subscriptions are on sale now at the MTL website, and single tickets will be on sale starting tomorrow.
