In case you don't know, the New Albany-Floyd County Library has a great Children's Library. We spend a lot of time there. If you have teens you'll want to check-out their upcoming event.
The teen years can be awkward and The New Albany - Floyd County Library has a plan to help you out. On Tuesday, May 24th at 6:30pm they are hosting "Tweens Night @ the Library." The goal is to help your tween make a comfortable transition to the "teen" section.
This program is designed for kids ages 10-12 and their parents. The Teen and Children's Librarians will give you an introduction to the Teen area, show you some great tween books and provide information about opportunities and activities for kids in 6th - 12th grade to get involved in there. The evening will wrap up with a period of snacks, games and crafts.
