The 46th annual Homearama in the neighborhood of Shakes Run came to a close Sunday, July 27th and finished with it's annual furniture sale on Monday, July 28th.

Houses in this prestigious, and highly sought-out area range in cost from about $417,000 to $670,00 and 3,430 to 4,705 square feet. Some of these homes have already sold, and for good reason.

Here's this year's award winners. The Grand Award Winners are chosen by the public and will be announced in early August.

Here's the complete list of homes this year.

My favorite happened to be House #4: Caroline. At 3,920 square feet it had slight touches of sophisticated Southern charm with some European influence, and all the modern amenities you could possibly want. Aside from the beautiful touches of detail in this four bedroom and three-bath house there was simply the comfort of home.

House #2: The Pottery Playhouse was a close second place in my mind because of the touches of gorgeous craftsman style throughout the entire home, but it also took into consideration usable living space for the family, even by building a whimsical cottage playhouse for children under the basement staircase, which my kids would absolutely die to have.

House #7: The Wilburn was a very close third for me. It took my breath away from the street at first with it's craftsman’s exterior and beautiful turquoise door. Even more touches of turquoise were sprinkled throughout the home, which I loved at first, but then it became a little too overwhelming.

Be on the lookout for Homearama 2015 around this same time next year here in Louisville!
