Heather Bond is a rising talent who has managed to excite an entire industry as her career ascends to the stratosphere.
Bond drew attention in 2009, when she released her debut EP “Walk Alone.” She is self-described as piano-pop, but the Nashville based artist manages to insert just enough organic material into her music that it preserves, if only a dash, of Americana in its bones. Her toes dig deep into American soil as she writes with a specific sense of acerbic wit that absolutely drips from every song on her new album entitled “So Long.” The songs are desperate passion plays to past heartbreak, loneliness, and nostalgia for a time in Bond’s life that clearly seems to have gone by the way side.
She is about to launch a tour in support of her new album “So Long,” which was released on September 18th. The Louisville show is going to be the official release party for her new record and should be an astounding performance to punctuate all of the hard work and passion that she has put into the writing and recording of the album. The album itself is already garnering fanatical reviews from music publications and bloggers all over the country.
