Music, theatre, kids activities, and plenty, plenty of fun are to be had at Actors Theatre's Block Party on Saturday.

Actors Theatre's Block Party will go on Aug. 17 from 1-10 on Main Street between Third and Fourth Streets in downtown Louisville.  The event is free and open to all members of the community.

The Block Party will feature plenty of events on multiple stages throughout the day. The adult stage will feature theatre performances from Theatre 502, Louisville Ballet, Walden Theatre, Savage Rose Classical Theatre, Whodunnit Murder Mystery Theatre, and others. Music performances on the same stage are highlighted with Ben Sollee, Willow Creek, The Pass, and Nick Dittmeier.

The kids stage will have half-hour shows from Stage One, Louisville Zoo, Blue Apple Players, Kentucky Science Center and others.  A kids zone will also be set up with various booths full of kids activities.

Don't forget to enjoy the booths from U of L Sports WFPL, Xhale Salon and Spa, and a host of other vendors.
