Local entrepreneur and refreshing beverage expert Sandy Nixon jumped on the Dodgeball express this week by become the Title Sponsor of the newly named Havana Beverages Dodgeball Smackdown. 

Havana Beverages is a three flavor stable of drinks (Cola, Mojito, and Tamarindo)and is available in 39 states via retailer and worldwide at Amazon.com.

"We did a lot of events in the past year and are always interested in getting involved with fun activities," said Nixon.  "We did plenty on the waterfront this past summer and getting inside during February made some sense.  As a part of the small business community, it's important to support local events.  Plus, it gives me a chance to get a new group of people to try the product, which is always good."

As title sponsor, Havana will be involved in a TBD contest for a $10,000 cash prize (stay tuned for more news) and instrumental in providing something new and different at the post-event gathering.
