Happy tenth birthday to Bourbons Bistro.  Before bourbon was hip or bourbon bars dotted Louisville’s landscape, Bourbons Bistro pioneered the concept of celebrating Louisville’s foodie scene with our rich heritage in bourbon.

To celebrate, Bourbons will offer “The Decader” thru April 26.  Proceeds benefit The Jockey’s Guild and it will be served in a commemorative Glencarin glass, which you’ll get to keep.  There will also be lots of food and appetizer specials and special events.

According to Bourbons Bistro, special events in April include:

    "Sunday, April 5th

Join us for Easter Brunch for $18 per person, enjoy an unlimited amount of your breakfast favorites. The brunch will begin at 10:00 am and conclude at 2:00 pm. To make a reservation, call us at (502) 894-8838.

    Friday, April 24th

Bourbons Bistro will be featuring a limited $10 menu in celebration of our birthday. The limited menu will be running from April 24th thru April 26th.

Louisville favorites, The Get Down, will be performing at 8pm for a rockin’ good time. The Get Down is a local surf rock group echoing the atmospheric instrumental sounds of artists like The Ventures and Dick Dale. The Get Down blends the early 60’s rock’n’ roll style with surf, garage and exotica.

    Sunday, April 26th

Bourbons Bistro owners, Jason Brauner and John Morrison, along with very special guests will be signing a commemorative Bourbons Bistro barrel head.

    Monday, April 27th

Marty McGee is back! Known Handicapper, Marty McGee will be hosting his annual handicapping dinner at Bourbons Bistro. This $65 per person dinner begins at 6:30. To make a reservation, call us at (502) 894-8838."

Happy birthday to Bourbons Bistro, a founding member of Louisville’s culture of bourbonism.
