It isn’t every day that a band with a ginormous fan following rolls through the Derby City. In this case it’s a group that has been getting your little sister worked up for years.
I admit, I have had the idea in my head that the band Hanson would never grow up, instead remaining forever trapped in teen limbo. But nowadays, the trio from Tulsa, OK are all grown up and still together, pursuing their musical dreams with a new album, Shout it Out.
The Hard Rock Café on 4th Street Live! is hosting Hanson for a 102.3 The Max Loyal Listener Concert on March 24. It’s an intimate event where a limited number of fans can enjoy the live unplugged performance from a popular artist. The event is usually followed by an opportunity for the band to meet with its fans and take pictures or gather autographs. Past concerts have featured Michelle Branch, Ben Folds, Barenaked Ladies, Jason Mraz, Uncle Kracker, Hootie and the Blowfish, and Natasha Bedingfield.
Tickets will be limited to only 102, and you can only win them from 102.3 The Max. In order to become one of the lucky attendees, listeners must visit themaxfm.com between now and Monday March 21, and enter an online contest.
