There is only one week left for early-bird registration for the 2012 GLI Annual Meeting which takes place on Tuesday March 20, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Which includes award presentations, special guests and exceptional networking. Special Early-Bird Pricing Ends February 3, 2012.

Each year, GLI's Annual Meeting, presented by PNC Bank, is one of Louisville's premiere networking events, bringing hundreds of businesses and Jeffrey R. Immelt, Chairman and CEO of General Electric, will keynote the 2012 Annual Meeting at the KFC Yum! Center.

Mr. Immelt has held several global leadership positions within the corporation between his start at GE in 1982 and being appointed chairman in 2001. He is a catalyst for leadership development and job growth, which also earned him the seat as chair of President Obama's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness.

Under Immelt, GE has reinvested in US manufacturing with an eye on the global economy and sustainability. These efforts are seen regionally with the much-anticipated $800 million investment in Louisville’s Appliance Park and focus on the importance and permanence of the manufacturing industry.

GLI would like for all attendees to act now to reserve their seat(s). For additional information please visit www.greaterlouisville.com

    About Bella Portaro

Happiness Cultivator. Blogger. Writer. Social Media and PR Maven. Dreamer. Louisville Lover. Blogger at Bella of Louisville; a lifestyle blog. A lifestyle is- by definition to me - the way in which one chooses to live their life. As I’ve entered into this chapter / book of my life with a strong understanding of who I am, lifestyle has become about the art of living well. This idea goes beyond creating a beautiful home and investing in my wardrobe. Living well means being kind, being good company, contributing to your community, and becoming a person of substance and grace. If designing a life full of substance and grace isn’t aspirational, I don’t know what else is. I love writing about events and things to do in Louisville. I hope you enjoy my posts and connect with me on social media!
