Just across the river in Jeffersonville is a great little sushi place called Star Sushi. Everyone should try the food here because it is delicious. Star Sushi is a small sushi place, but there is hardly ever a wait. The prices are cheap and the service is fast. I did not have to wait long at all for my food to arrive.
A vegetarian friend accompanied me to Star Sushi, so we tried the edamame as an appetizer, and each had the miso soup. For sushi I ordered the Crunch shrimp roll, which had spicy crab inside, cooked shrimp on top with crunch, eel sauce and spicy mayo on the top. This was a large shrimp roll that came in seven pieces, was very filling, and only cost $9.95. I would definitely recommend this roll for any shrimp lover. My friend ordered the vegetable roll, and was very pleased with it. Star Sushi offers over twenty specialty rolls, as well as cooked, vegetable, inside out, Nigiri, cooked Nigiri, and Sashimi rolls. They also offer a wide variety of appetizers, from fried oysters to shrimp tempura, so there is something on the menu that everyone is sure to enjoy.
Overall I highly recommend Star Sushi for any sushi lover. It has inexpensive prices with good portions, great service, and awesome sushi!
