If you're like me you try to find inexpensive, or better yet, free things to do with your kid.

The Great Escape Theatres in New Albany and Clarksville, Indiana are once again offering the free kids' summer movies!

The free showings begin on June 6th and run thru August 11th.

    All shows start at 9:30am.

I recommend you get there early because they are free and generally draw large crowds.

The theatre does have an open concession stand for the movies so prepare adequately for that as well.

Concession lines tend to get pretty long just before the show starts.

The Great Escape, River Falls, Clarksville

will show the films on Monday and Tuesday each week, while the Great Escape, New Albany will have showings on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

You may find additional information at www.gretescapetheatres.com

The 2011 features are: "Despicable Me," "Megamind," "Shrek Forever After," "How To Train Your Dragon," "Yogi Bear," "Narnia: Voyage of Dawn Treader," "Marmaduke," "Nanny McPhee Returns," "Ramona and Beezus," "Cats & Dogs: Revenge of Kitty Galore."

Take advantage of this fun summer offering!

    I'll be there.

    About Roxane Haynes

I am a working mother of four kids, age five and under, this includes two singletons and a set of twins. When I say working, I mean that I stay at home with them, but work my butt off to take care of them and get the "usual" things done for our home. I also help my husband with our business when I can. B.K. (before kids) I worked in the Human Resource field. Stay At Home Mom is by far my favorite career choice to date.
