The clinic will be led by volunteer attorneys through conjunction with the Louisville Bar Association. Guests can obtain legal advice on a range of topics including child support, divorce, debt collection, and immigration. Guests are asked to bring with them any documentation relating to their specific questions or issues. Spanish interpreters will also be available.
The Lee Webb Latino Legal Clinic was founded in 2003 by the late attorney Lee Webb to provide better legal resources for the Hispanic community. In an interview with Louisville’s Business First last year, Webb described her passion for Latino culture after visiting Ecuador as an exchange student at age 16. She graduated the University of Kentucky with a degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies before pursuing her law degree. Webb worked in commercial litigation for the firm of Stoll Keenon Ogden, PLLC. and served on the board of several Hispanic and Latino social service organizations.
