Feast BBQ Founder and Culinary Director Ryan Rogers has been named to the Eater Young Guns class of 2015. Eater is the industry favorite source for dining and drinking in the US. Since 2012, Eater has identified the most promising hospitality industry stars under 30 or have worked in the industry for less than five years. This year, 17 winners were chosen from around the country, including Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, New York, Austin, San Francisco, Portland, Miami, and Louisville.
“I’ve been an avid reader of Eater since it originated, so to be recognized by them is truly an honor and it’s very humbling to be included in a group of such talented individuals,” says Rogers. “It only serves to further highlight the growth we have accomplished and hope to continue."
Rogers is the first from Louisville to be recognized as an Eater Young Gun. He will celebrated last night in Los Angeles at an invite only event featuring food and cocktails from the winners. Rogers served Kumamoto Oysters and potlikker shave ice with hickory smoked salt.

About Feast BBQ
In 2012, Ryan Rogers opened Feast BBQ at the age of 26. The barbecue restaurant is framed within the scope of his childhood memories of no frills southern barbecue and church picnics and built upon the foundation of refined culinary technique. In 2014, Feast BBQ opened the doors to its second location in Louisville’s NuLu neighborhood, where they had spent 6 months repurposing the old Cake Flour space and adjoining office space, into a 120+ seat quick service restaurant.
Since its inception, Feast BBQ has garnered its share of local and national press including Eater’s 2013 Hottest Restaurant in Louisville, LEO Weekly’s Best Restaurant in Southern Indiana 2013 and 2014, Cooking with Paula Deen’s Top 10 Barbecue Restaurants in the Nation, as well as mentions in Travel + Leisure Magazine, The Guardian, and The Chicago Tribune.
