    Historic Frankfort Avenue will host a F.A.T. Friday Trolley Hop on Friday, May 29th from 6:00pm to 10:30pm. The F.A.T. Friday Trolley Hop, on the final Friday of each month, provides FREE parking and transportation to participating shops, restaurants and galleries along the Frankfort, Mellwood and Story Avenue corridor. Transportation is provided by TARC.

    Special activities happening during the F.A.T. Friday Trolley Hop on May 29th are:

    · Shine, located in the Mellwood Art Center, will offer free chair massages all evening, a Free Nia class at 6:30pm, guests are welcome to drop in to this Barefoot Boogie for the whole class or just for a song or 2, and a Drum Circle at 8:30pm.
    · The Mellwood Art Center will host live music by Joey Sandals in the courtyard, and Uvestor.com will host its grand opening as well.

    · Kaviar Forge & Gallery, located at 1718 Frankfort Avenue, will host free fire-breathing performances by Aaron Morris at 7:00pm and 8:00pm, weather permitting. The Gallery will host two exhibitions. An Empty Nest” showcases original fiber creations by Vallorie Henderson, and “IRAQ: remains” is a retrospective of remarkable photographs documenting the experiences journalist Molly Bingham, a Louisville native, who spent over a year reporting in Iraq from the beginning of the US invasion of 2003 through May 2004.

    · Elizabeth’s Timeless Attire, located at 2050 Frankfort Avenue, will be showcasing a new collection of retro-inspired jewelry from Elizabeth’s recent trip to Paris, and French wine and cheese will be served. French designer Marion Godart brings whimsy and elegance to Frankfort Avenue!
