If you missed Fandom Fest on Friday, you certainly missed a lot of fun, but don't worry! Louisville.com has a recap right here, and Fandom Fest will be back again Saturday and Sunday with even more events, panels, and celebrities.
On Friday, Fandom Fest had some amazing cosplay.
(That's me in the chucks and fellow cosplayer Tim Rucker as Captain America. My version of the Scarlet Witch thinks high-heeled boots are uncomfortable.)
There were a lot of cool trinkets for sale. The Halloween Queen, who I mentioned in my article about Derby City Comic Con, has a booth as well as T@G Graphics (famous for fangirl stuff) and ModelBlocks.com (for the Minecraft lover).

This fan shared a moment with Sam Huntington, of Being Human and Fanboys fame, and got an autograph. Come on Saturday or Sunday and have your moment too!
The gaming systems were up and running.
This game of "Suck and Blow" took place at an 18+ panel for Panty and Stocking. All I could think about was Clueless, but I digress.
A Deadpool dance-off happened at the Rave, and it was everything it should have been.
Some guests preferred the more relaxed masquerade to the rave.
These fans got to chat one-on-one with Brian O'Halloran at the Galt House bar.
If these pictures look like fun to you, come to Fandom Fest Saturday and Sunday, August 2nd and 3rd. For more information visit www.fandomfest.com, and check back with Louisville.com for more recaps!
