Want to see beautiful Louisville on two wheels while helping out the community? Then wheel over for the 8th annual “Just Pedal” bike ride this Sunday, June 13th. The ride, which begins and ends at Bellarmine University, covers 28 miles and goes through the Highlands and downtown. Take your place in line for walk-up registration at 11:30 a.m, then get ready for the ride, which starts at 12:30. Rather watch? That night, join the pack at Comedy Caravan for food and relaxation—even if your rear end isn’t worn out from the ride.
Registration for the day is $30. Catholic Charities will provide a gear truck, experienced tour leaders, rest stops with high-energy snacks and t-shirts. Although there will be volunteers along the bike route, riders are required to provide their own safety equipment, such as helmets.
