Many music festivals are in the middle of nowhere. It give them a lot more room for activities and time to play until they can’t play anymore, but festivals like Lollapalooza in Chicago or Forecastle here in town are located in the heart of downtown so they have a strict curfew. (On site Forecastle shows end at 11 p.m.)

Fear not, though, as Forecastle and our own local venues have supplied late night shows so that the good times don’t have to stop on at Waterfront Park. An added bonus with these shows is that if you are willing to stay up later, you can see bands that have been attracted by the festival for a price much cheaper than the actual cost of a ticket to Forecastle.

Here are the late night shows that have been announced:

    Headliners: St Paul & The Broken Bones w/ Curtis Harding—Doors at 11 p.m., Show at 12 a.m., Tickets-Adv $20 Day of Show $22, 18+
