Conning people out of money never looked so hilarious in the musical comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which Clarksville Little Theatre will put on beginning Friday.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels will take place on Nov. 9, 10, 15, 16, and 17 at 8 p.m. each night. A matinee will happen at 2 p.m. on Nov. 11. All performances are to happen at Clarksville Little Theatre, located at 301 E. Montgomery Ave. in Clarksville, IN.
Tickets for each show are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 60 and over, $12 for teens, and $8 for children. Tickets can be purchased at the box office or reserved in advance by calling 812-283-6522. More information can be found at the Clarksville Little Theatre website.
In the French Riviera, two con men make their living by swindling rich ladies of their money. However, when the two work together, it fails hilariously. When Christine Colgate comes around, the con men make a bet with each other. The first to take Colgate's money wins, and the other leaves the Riviera.
The musical features C. Kevin Swansey as Lawrence Jamison, Jeff Ketterman as Freddy Benson, Rebecca Chaney as Christine Colgate, Josh O'Brien as Inspector Andre, Jayme Thomas as Muriel Eubanks, and Carrie Cooke as Jolene Oakes. Mike Seely directed Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.
Following Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Clarksville Little Theatre will present Crimes of the Heart. That production will take place in January.
