Sunday afternoon from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Heather French Henry Showroom on 1357 Bardstown Road, famed milliner Gabriel Amar of Gabriel Amar for Frank Olive will host a hat party for the WHAS Crusade for Children, with proceeds benefiting the local charity. Amar will be on-hand to aid customers with their last-minute search for the perfect Derby hat or fascinator.

Guests attending the charity hat party will also have an opportunity to look over the designs from the 2000 Miss America and fashion designer, with prices in her current collection ranging from $99 to $500. French Henry's boutique is open Monday through Sunday from noon to 6 p.m., but will have extended hours beginning on May 1st through the 3rd for customers seeking out the perfect Derby gala dress, no matter if it's for the Julep Ball or the exclusive Barnstable Brown.

For more information about the event, you may contact either Jo Ross at 502-777-8507 or Lisa

Cofer at 502-648-2975. You can also follow Amar's Facebook page for his work at the Heather French Henry Showroom for updates as they come, as well as see the pieces the milliner has created recently.
