Louisville, Kentucky was Katie Herzig's last stop to her summer tour. Guest star Dave Moisan was a great start to the concert, jamming with his fellow musicians, a mix between Jason Mraz and Maroon 5 sound the crowd followed along dancing away. Next was Matthew Perryman Jones, after the party Dave Moisan started, Matthew toned it down with a solo act, great voice and excellent guitar player Matthew played songs from his new album set to be released later this month, he also played his famous song "Save you" which the crowd responded to nicely.

Matthew Perryman Jones prepared the night to introduce Katie Herzig, the crowd immediately welcomed her, excited and ready to begin the last night of touring for Katie Herzig and her band. Katie connected with the audience and some very excited fans returned the affinity by singing along to her every song. Later on Matthew Perryman Jones joined Katie for a quiet duet, with Claire joining them with her cello.

Jordan the multi-instrument player who has sang and played with Katie for many years showed the audience a device that changes her voice, she began telling the story of how the band likes to scare cello player Claire, with her voice then imitating her own mother, laughs were shared amongst the audience making a very entertaining funny act.

Katie sang "Lost and Found" a song brilliantly executed and performed live, more hit songs included "Make A Noise," "Hey Na Na," "Free My Mind" among others. As her encore "Way To The Future" was the perfect way to end a great show.

    About Karla Castorena

I love social networking, writing and being in-the-know with news around Louisville. My definition of a fun Friday or Saturday night is having a good beer with friends at my favorite bar, O'Shea's with a live band playing in the background.
