Despite significant lineup changes, the Cold War Kids are shaping up to be something special. After 10 plus years on the road, five studio LPs, and 4 Eps, they sound as fresh as they did from their breakout.
Having a lengthy arsenal of tracks to choose from certainly doesn't hurt live performances and last night, they slayed Mercury Ballroom. Packed in a crowd of over 700 people, they pulled from every album and didn't disappoint.
Certainly worth checking out the next time they're in town and a big thank you to all who came out. The energy this California crew has will leave you continuously saying, "No, THAT was the best show!"
