If you like Celtic music, you won’t want to miss Celtic Crossroads’ upcoming show this Friday, their 12th stop of their 2012 world tour! Their tour kicked off on February 18th at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond. The last performances lands them in The Orpheum Theatre in Galesburg, IL on April 14th.
Some of the best musicians from Ireland will be on stage together offering a thrilling Celtic music experience including dancers, singers, and high production elements such as visuals of Ireland on stage. This young group of musicians will perform music on 20 different instruments fusing all genres in the Irish and Celtic music families. Celtic Crossroads’ music is a juxtaposition of past and present weaving medieval melodies, rustic folk songs, and traditional Gaelic lyrics with modern bass-driven rhythms and inventive arrangements.
