The Louisville Bats are pleased to announce that The Bob Dylan Show, featuring Bob Dylan, John Mellencamp and Willie Nelson, will perform live in concert at Louisville Slugger Field on Wednesday, July 8 at 5:30 p.m.; gates will open at 5:00 p.m.  This will be Willie Nelson’s third appearance at Louisville Slugger Field, Bob Dylan’s second and Indiana native John Mellencamp’s first visit.

Since first embarking on a journey of minor league ballparks in 2004, over a half-million fans have been drawn to the tour, ranked by The Boston Globe as “the most relaxed, enjoyable shows of the year”.  This will mark just the second time in the past 24 years that these three performers have shared the concert stage.

“We are pleased to be able to bring another quality concert to Louisville Slugger Field,” said Bats team President Gary Ulmer.  “Our previous concerts have been very successful and it’s obvious that concert fans enjoy the ballpark setting.  We will make every attempt to continue to bring concerts here in the future”

Tickets will go on sale to the general public Saturday, May 9 at 10:00 a.m. through all TicketMaster outlets, charge by phone (800) 745-3000, ticketmaster.com and the Louisville Slugger Field box office.  All seats are general admission (field or seating bowl) and cost $69.50.  Children 14 and under are free.  This event is rain or shine; umbrellas, chairs and outside food and drinks are not permitted inside Louisville Slugger Field.
