The three-time defending International League West champion Louisville Bats will open their 2011 season April 7 at Louisville Slugger Field, and end it there on Labor Day.

The Bats released their complete 2011 schedule Monday on their website.

Louisville opens its season with a four-game series against division-rival Toledo before hosting Columbus in a quick two-game set. The Bats first meet Durham, the team that has knocked them out of the last three postseasons, from April 26-29 in a four-game series at Slugger Field.

Louisville will be at home on all of the major summer holidays. The Bats host Syracuse on Memorial Day, Columbus on the Fourth of July and Indianapolis on Labor Day - the final day of the IL regular season.
