All five locations of the Bristol Bar and Grille will be honoring Bastille Day, the French national holiday, this year. The location in Jeffersonville, Indiana will offer a special selection of French food and wine from Friday, July 11 through Sunday, August 24.  Chef Richard Doering created a specialty menu only available at this location.

During this six week period, all Bristol locations will feature a distinct list of French wines to be paired with their meals. Master Sommelier Scott Harper personally selected each wine, and it will be sold by the glass, bottle, or flight. These specials will be offered along with the regular menu from 5:00 p.m. until close.

The Jeffersonville Bristol will also host a wine tasting event on Thursday, July 17 at 6:30 p.m. Harper will lead the event as the attendees explore five tasting pours of hand-picked wines. The cost is $20 per person, and all attendees are encouraged to stay afterwards for the dinner special. To reserve a place at this wine tasting, call (812) 218-1995.

This special menu and wine offering is a great way to celebrate the beginning of the French Revolution (influenced by the success of our own)! Bastille Day occurs on July 14 to commemorate the storming of the Bastille prison in Paris on that day in 1789.

    About Rebecca Ball

As great lover of books and adventure, I grew up wanting to be anywhere else. I satiated some my wanderlust in the castles and expansive forests in Europe over the past few years. Now, I live in the city that will always be home with a cat who thinks she's a person.
