Rental companies, threesomes, and the Ten-Tucky Festival beginning this weekend at The Bard's Town.

The Ten-Tucky Festival will take place Sept. 12-15 and 19-22 at 7:30 p.m. each night. All shows are to happen at The Bard's Town, located at 1801 Bardstown Road in the Highlands.

Tickets for each show are $15 for adults, $12 for students, and $12 for seniors. Due to limited seating, advance purchase is highly recommended and can be done so at The Bard's Town website or by calling 502-749-5275.

Ten-Tucky Festival is The Bard's Town Theatre's popular annual showcase of Kentucky playwrights and actors performing ten minute plays.  More than 100 submissions from Kentucky playwrights were considered, and eight were selected.

The plays to be featured include:  Gary Waley's A Day on the Savannah, Brian Walker's Threesome, Ben Unwin's Hunting Jackalopes, Mark Cornell's The Rental Company, and others.

Expect everything in a festival like this, from drama to comedy to surprises and more.

Following the Ten-Tucky Festival, The Bard's Town Theatre will present the return of The Kings of Christmas. That production will happen in December.
