    Corydon's Hayswood Theatre announces their fall production of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible, which opens on September 16 and runs through October 2. The Crucible is based on the Salem Witch trials of the 1600’s and unravels a dark tale of witchcraft and sorcery in the Puritan village of Salem, Massachusetts. The play is  Directed by Ellen Hanaver and is terrifying story of jealousy, shocking accusations and what can happen when people act on fear.

    The cast includes Emma Dayvault, Charles Swarens, Kathy Norton, Shelley Hanaver-Torrez, Trinity Travis, Jen Anderson, Eric Eisert, Elizabeth Anderson, Leigh Balance, Corey Long, Kirsten McDowell, Liz Swarens, Scott Smith, Sue McMonigle, Allen Platt, Bobby Anderson, Kevin Bauman, Brigham Callam, Jim Aich, Marcia Gliotonne, and Woody Woodfin.

    The Crucible will play September 16 through October 2 thanks to the generous support of the Harrison County Community Foundation. The Friday and Saturday night performances are  at 8 p.m.;Sunday afternoon performances are at 2 p.m. 

    Tickets are $10 - $12 and can be purchased by calling the Harrison County Convention and Visitors’ Bureau at 812-738-2138. The Hayswood Theater is located at 115 S. Capital Ave in Corydon, IN.
