Copper & Kings hosted the 3rd Annual Butchertown Porktoberfest Friday, October 9. The event let guests taste local goodness and vote on their favorites. Despite the name, the offerings weren't all porcine, vegetarian options, side dishes and desserts were available.

Copper & Kings offered a couple signature cocktails while Apocalypse Brew Works poured a selection of their local brews. Relic’s bluegrass tunes paired perfectly with the different dishes, drinks and the delightful atmosphere that included a fire pit with circular stadium-like seating.

And the Porktoberfest 2015 winners are...

Grand Prize: Commonwealth Cure with their fried bologna.

    Rye/Galaxie's Pork and Potato Grill

Best Pork: Rye/Galaxie with their Takori pork and potatoes.

Most Creative: Wiltshire with their Porktoberfest 2015 selection: S.C.F. Gochuchang Braised Pork Eggroll with local kimchi; veggie dish of baked beans, Brussels sprout slaw and potato chips; Carmel Bacon Jam Poptart with maple frosting.

    Wiltshire on Market's Poptarts

Best Dessert: Wiltshire with their Carmel Bacon Jam Poptart with maple frosting.

Royals Hot Chicken's Porktoberfest 2015 Selection

Best Vegetarian: Royals Hot Chicken with their Nashville Hot Tofu with dill pickle Benedictine and marinated cucumber.

Congratulations to the winners, and a shout out to all the other chefs, restaurant staff and everyone else who came out to make Porktoberfest 2015 a night our bellies will remember!
