Adoptable Dogs of the Week: Meela and Nadia from Hand-in-Paw Rescue
    Print this page

This week’s adoptable dogs of the week are Meela and Nadia, two of the mamas from Hand-in-Paw Rescue.

Meela is a beautiful, two-year-old, 45 lb brindle Pit Bull who has raised her babies and is looking for a home of her own. She is great with all other dogs, doesn't mind cats, and is great with children. As much as Meela loves to run in the yard and play tug of war, she is just as content hanging out on the couch with you watching TV.  Meela is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

Nadia is a gorgeous, two-year-old, 45 lb black Pit Bull who has also raised her babies and would like a family to call her own. She gets along with other dogs, doesn't mind cats, and is great with children. Nadia loves her toys and must always have one close by. She enjoys playing tug-of-war and is great at playing fetch. Nadia is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations.

If you would like to adopt Meela or Nadia, please complete the adoption application by going to this Hand-in-Paw Adoption Application page.

If you have any questions, please email Hand-in-Paw at info@handinpawrescue.org.

Louisville's Hand-in-Paw Rescue focuses on pulling pregnant or nursing dog mothers and their babies from area shelters. The organization's goal is to stop the cycle of unwanted litters and to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering.
