The 2014 Chow Wagon begins this Thursday, April 24th and commences on May 2nd, to complete the last of the Kentucky Derby Festival events. This week long event is open from 11 a.m. until nearly midnight when the nightly performances come to an end. You must have a Pegasus Pin to enter the Chow Wagon and they can be purchased at the gates of the event and at your neighborhood Kroger.
Each year the Chow Wagon and the Miller Lite Music Stage create a large crowd with local and regional entertainment and an extensive variety of musical genres including gospel, urban, Latino, country and rock. The Kroger Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront is an event complementing the Chow Wagon and features many events like the U.S Bank Balloon Crew Challenge, Discovery Day, and Beer Fest.
You can eat delicious polish sausages and hamburgers, Lemon Shake-Ups, funnel cakes, and nearly every dessert in a fried fashion.
A full list of the food and vendor choices can be found here.

There are events for every age. The children’s events are during the day and the adult events begin as the sun goes down. Bring your children out for Discovery Day, bring your ladies out for outdoor fitness fun at the Zumba Fitness Party and meet your friends for drinks and live music from The Fray at the Waterfront Jam.
The Chow Wagon and Kroger's Fest-a-Ville is like field day in elementary school for adults. Leave the office for the afternoon and grab something for lunch and enjoy the weather or register you and your colleagues for the Battle of the Bounce. See you all there!
