
The Kentucky Horse Park will be hosting the Kentucky Equine Youth Festival on March 27, 2013 at its Alltech Arena. Registration starts at 8 am with activities starting at 9 am and continuing through 2:30 pm. Advance registration is required.

This Kentucky Equine Youth Festival is all about kids and horses. Learn more about horses, their different uses such as driving, working cattle, jumping, and many other exciting demonstrations showing off the versatility of the horse.
An equine ophthalmologist discusses the eye of the horse.
Participate in hands on demonstrations that will bring you closer to the beautiful animal we call the horse. Enter the art and essay contests. There will be interactive activities and presentations. Educational booths will be on hand from organizations representing all facets of the equine industry.

Fees for this event are as follows: Schools - $25 (up to 35 students) or
$50 (more than 35 students), Youth Groups - $25., Individuals - $5.
Checks to be made out to Kentucky 4H Foundation.
