Rolling Stone as one of the "Top 15 Festivals in the Country," today was your chance to get a head start on the Forecastle action this year. Forecastle offered a very limited number of $100, 3 day weekend tickets exclusively through ForecastleFest.com at noon today. This price included all applicable fees and service charges. The festival's lineup, full ticketing option (including VIP), travel packages, and single day tickets will be available in the coming weeks. Within an hour and a half these discounted pre-sale tickets have already sold out. Correction: apparently tickets were sold out within the first two minutes of the presale according to some disgruntled patrons commenting on Forecastle's Facebook page. I checked for tickets on their website around 1:30 and they were sold out at that point.

Forecastle is a popular 3 day music festival that will take place July 12-14, 2013 at Waterfront Park. This premier music experience, that usually has around 30,000 people in attendance, has pulled in some major touring acts including My Morning Jacket, The Black Keys, The Flaming Lips, Band of Horses, and The Smashing Pumpkins to name a few.
