    The Flaming Lips, Widespread Panic and Spoon are headlining the 2010 Forecastle Festival July 9-11 at Waterfront Park, a new venue this year.

    Forecastle Captain J.K. McKnight announced the initial lineup at a press conference at 11 a.m. today on Louisville's Great Lawn. All told, more than 75 acts will play at the ninth annual Forecastle Festival. The 2010 event is expected to attract more than 25,000 music fans. This year the event is moving from the Riverfront Belvedere to Waterfront Park, where it will feature four festival stages.

    Advanced three-day passes go on sale at 1 p.m. today at Ticketmaster.com for $135 (regularly $150).
