    Top Dog Promotions in conjunction with the Greg Page Foundation presents its
    first Championship Boxing Match. Louisville is, of course, a city that is rich
    in boxing heritage.

    Scheduled as the main event on this card is Dennis “The Nigerian
    Nightmare” Ogboo –vs- Chris Eppley in a World Boxing Federation
    sanctioned cruiserweight championship match. Also fighting on this card
    will be Louisville’s own crowd favorites Rico “The Future” Murray,
    Joseph “TOJO” Harris, Nate Petty, Alex Medina, Ade Morales and also
    slated to appear, by way of Saskatoon Canada, hot prospect Percy Hoff
    is scheduled to make his Pro debut. All fights are subject to change! Bouts sanctioned by the
    Kentucky Boxing & Wrestling Authority.

    The seventh
    annual Thunder into Louisville Poker Run will be held on Saturday, Oct.
    17, starting at 10 a.m. at the Bluegrass Harley-Davidson dealership at
    I-64 and Blankenbaker Parkway. The event, which is a fund-raiser for
    the 2010 Thunder Over Louisville show and is produced by WDRB FOX 41,
    will finish at Derby Park Expo Five, 2900 Seventh Street Road. Last
    year’s motorcycle rally/poker run attracted nearly 500 participants
    (riders and passengers combined). The riders with the top three poker
    hands split $1,750 in prize money.

    Goblins Galore will open at Otter Creek Park to families and young
    children beginning October 10, and will continue through October 31.
    This new Otter Creek Halloween event is designed especially for kids
    ages 2-12. Some of the many activities will include face painting,
    trick-or-treating, pumpkin painting, hay rides, bouncies, slides and a
    special kid-friendly haunted house. Families can enjoy cider and other
    treats during this celebration.

    Hours for Little Goblins Galore are 12PM-5PM on Saturdays and 1PM-5PM on Sundays. Admission is $8.00 per guest.
