CenterStage and Artistic Director John R. Leffert will be staging Mel
Brooks’ classic cult comedy at the Jewish Community Center (JCC) July
    23-Aug. 9.

“The Producers” tells the story of two Broadway producers who scheme
to get rich by overselling interests in a Broadway flop. Unexpectedly
the show turns out to be a success. The musical sets the standard for
modern, outrageous, in-your-face humor. It was a big hit on Broadway,
winning a record 12 Tony Awards and wowing capacity crowds night after
night. The success resulted in national tours and successful
    international productions.
