The 2010 Louisville Zombie Attack will take place Sunday, August 29 (8/29) at 8:29 p.m. All zombies (and zombie wannabes) are invited to start their quest for brains at the corner of Eastern Parkway and Bardstown Road, then heading north to Bearno’s at 1318 Bardstown Rd. The afterparty at the pizzeria will feature not only music (Grateful Dead?) and movies (
Night of the Living Dead
?) but also awards in categories such as grossest zombie, hottest zombie and, of course, king and queen of the (un)dead. The Golden Machete award will go to the most original zombie—a “best in show,” so to speak (if one may speak of the dead).
