We see you appreciate a good vintage. But there comes a time to try something new. Click here to head over to the redesigned Louisville.com. It's where you'll find all of our latest work. And plenty of the good ol' stuff, too, looking better than ever.

    Bit to Do

Bourbon may be Kentucky's official spirit, but we have a surprising number of vineyards a pretty close drive to Louisville.  Wednesday night is your chance to sample two dozen examples of area wines. There'll be some names you might recognize from your local liquor store, such as Equus Run (halfway between here and Lexington) and Huber Winery (on the sunny side of Louisville) as well as a vast number of ambitious locals eager to prove themselves.

If you're heading down to the waterfront anyway, this year's Wine Fest is located inside the Kroger Fest-A-Ville. For $35, you get a commemorative tasting glass and enough samples to leave you somewhat sloshed as you meander through the Chow Wagon for the rest of the night. Luckily, this happens to be a Waterfront Wednesday, so worst case scenario, you can grab a corndog from the Chow Wagon and settle down for some live music while you sober up.
