Louisville Magazine’s inaugural SWIG party is happening December 5, at the Brown Hotel from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Louisville.com is giving you a chance to win a pair of tickets!

SWIG will celebrate the many distilleries, breweries and wineries that make up Louisville’s huge alcohol and alcohol tourism industries. The Brown Hotel will provide a perfect period backdrop for the prohibition-themed tasting celebration on December 5: the 81st anniversary of the repeal of prohibition.

The event will have over 40 vendors, including several distillers from the Bourbon Trail, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Copper & Kings, Old 502 and Great Flood Brewery. Louisville favorites like Game, Hammerheads, Roux, Art Eatables, Loop 22 and Joy Luck will be on hand to make sure you don’t drink on an empty stomach.

Bourbon, wine, beer, brandy, cocktails and food tastings will be free with a ticket. Entertainment will be provided by Billy Goat Strut and the New Lou Swing Dance Association. While Roaring 20’s-style attire is not mandatory, it is encouraged.
